Puppy Visits NYC — Gentle, Structured Care For Your New Best Friend
The first couple of months of puppyhood is a busy and tiring time, and a little overwhelming — with a full workday to fit in. Puppies should have multiple potty breaks, can't hold it for 8 hours and the habits they establish while they are puppies will affect the kind of dog they will be. Many NYC puppy owners end up making the choice between rushing home on their lunch break or crossing their fingers that all is well until they get home. The Paw Butler was built to give you a better option.
We're a private, personalized puppy care service based in Bayside, New York, serving pet owners across Long Island City, Northeast Queens, and Long Island. A dedicated trained team member is assigned to each puppy visit, and knows that the first few months are the most important for your puppy, regarding not only toilet training but socialization and the confident, well adjusted puppy that will grow up to be.
From a potty break during your workday, a socialization call as you get settled into your routine, to regular planned care when your puppy is still very young – and too young for a full walk – The Paw Butler offers gentle and consistent care from the very first visit.

Why NYC Puppy Owners Choose Paw Butler

More than an opening door for a minute with a puppy is needed. They require the patience and knowledge of an early development specialist, consistency in their house training, and a caregiver who can keep a puppy from going overboard without a full walk behind him or her. We have no rivals when it comes to the services we offer:
Puppies need to be consistent. We meet your puppy for a free meet and greet prior to our visits, so we know your puppy's feeding schedule, potty training method and any commands you are using, all of which reinforces, not confuses, the schedule you are creating at home.
You'll receive photos and visit updates through our app after every single stop, so you always know exactly how your puppy is doing, including potty breaks, feeding times, and general behavior — no guessing during your workday.
Trained, Dedicated Pet Care Professionals
You get a dedicated specialist familiar with your puppy, your home, and your training approach — not a different face every visit. That consistency matters most in these early, formative months.
Puppies aren't ready for the same activity level as adult dogs. Our visits are paced to your puppy's age and energy, focused on comfort, gentle play, and short, positive exposure to the world outside — not overstimulation.
Puppy Visit Plans and Pricing

Puppy visits are scheduled around your puppy's real needs — typically multiple short visits per day during the early weeks, tapering as they grow and build bladder control. Every visit includes a potty break, feeding if needed, gentle play, and a full visit report through the app. Pricing is confirmed for your exact routine during your free meet and greet, based on visit frequency and duration.
Multi-pet household? Add a second puppy or dog to the same visit for just $15 extra.

What a Puppy Visit Actually Looks Like

A lot of pet care services treat puppy visits like a smaller version of a dog walk. They're not. Here's what to expect from every visit with The Paw Butler:
-
Arrival & Check-In — Your specialist will show up in your time slot and sign in with the app.
-
Potty Break — A gentle and supportive bathroom break which supports your house-training program.
-
Feeding (If Scheduled) — Meals fed as directed on puppy's schedule.
-
Gentle Play & Socialization — Brief, pleasant play interaction to promote confidence and not overstimulation.
-
Photo & Visit Report — You receive real-time photo updates and a full visit summary, including potty and feeding notes, the moment the visit ends.
-
Secure Departure — Your home is left exactly as it was, with all doors and locks secured.
This is what turns a one-off puppy sitter into a real part of your puppy's early development.
What a Day with Your Dog Walker Actually Looks Like
A lot of dog walking services promise reliability, but few actually show you what happens behind the leash. Here's what you can expect from every visit with The Paw Butler:
1. Arrival & Check-In — Your walker arrives within your scheduled window and checks in through the app.
2. The Walk — A structured, unhurried walk paced to your dog's energy level and comfort, whether that's a brisk 60-minute outing or a gentle stroll for a senior dog.
3. Enrichment & Attention — Sniff breaks, play, and one-on-one attention — not a rushed lap around the block.
4. Photo & Visit Report — You receive real-time photo updates and a visit summary the moment the walk ends.
5. Secure Departure — Your home is left as it is when you arrived, all doors and locks are secured.
This consistency is what will make a casual dog walker a trusted part of your dog's routine.

FAQ’s

What is the price of puppy visits in NYC?
The cost of puppy visits will vary based on the number of visits per day and the length of time the visit will last because younger puppy walks will require more visits per day than an adult dog walk. This will be confirmed with you at your free meet and greet depending on the age and availability of your pup.
Is it necessary to meet the puppy's caregiver prior to booking?
Yes — and we recommend it. Each puppy that we accept has a free meet and greet with us where we find out their feeding schedule and potty training approach, as well as any other commands that you are training them at home, so we don't disrupt your puppy's training routine
At what age can my puppy start regular dog walks instead of visits?
Most puppies will be ready to be introduced to structured walks at around 4 - 6 months of age once they've received a complete vaccination program and. So yeah, that's the idea — or so it seems — . I have gained stamina.
Do you accept weekend/last minute puppy visits?
Absolutely. Weekend visits are also possible and available for an extra $10 per visit and same day/ last minute visits are possible for an extra $15.
Do you provide updates during the walk?
Yes. Our app sends photo updates and a full visit report — including potty and feeding notes — the moment each visit is complete, so you always know exactly how your puppy's day is going.
Is The Paw Butler insured and background-checked?
Our entire team is trained, vetted, and dedicated specifically to providing safe, structured pet care — your dog's safety is always the top priority.
